Well, it can take some of the edge off of how you view a white person who you are unhappy with. Sure, if the person is a flagrant a-hole racist, that's one thing. But, there are certainly other circumstances where you can at least consider that person's experiences with blacks previous to you may have altered their perceptions.

Ya know. Just as previous touchy situations with a white person might have your antenna up a bit excessively in your next similar interaction with a white person(where no actual problem exists).

Basically, I'm saying it goes both ways. Frankly, if some freak of nature happened and there was a rash of crime in my area committed by short white guys built like me and that meant I got bad looks when I went into stores, I wouldn't be pissed at the storekeeper, I'd be pissed at the other short white guys.

Finally, if there is one group of people that deserves real sympathy, it's a black conservative. shite. They get the wonderful privilege of basically being persona non grata among their own race.

If I get wronged by a white person, I don't take that as an indictment on other whites. Same for blacks, Asians, Indians, etc etc. I think that's dumb. I mean, what makes race so special? Why is it a (insert race) person who wronged you? Why isn't it a (insert height) person or a (insert hair length) person or a (insert ear size) person? If someone with short hair wrongs you, are you now going to approach short-haired people differently, or deal with them with more apprehension?

being fat doesn't make you a minority. you know that right?

I love that the line are doubling down on the race card strategy.

Your sentiments are generally correct, but I'd disagree with the above quote.

I think there are more blacks and other minority voters than you are giving credit to, and I think we will see a rise in black and other minority voters publicly identify with the GOP in the next 1-3 election cycles. I also believe the South will lead in a new era of politics in which more black people vote Republican. Diversity of thought and political ideology is race-neutral, which will inevitably lead to more black, GOP supporters and candidates. I'll even go so far as to say that it's happening, just not as fast as I'd like to see.
