I once had a former employee semi-accuse me of racism during a unemployment compensation hearing. We didn't take off the day for MLK. She was employed for two weeks, showed up for work 4 days total. We were retail.

if there's anything i could care less about my tax dollars going to, it's letting people into national parks for free a dozen or so days a year
are you under the impression that only black folks showed up for the free mlk day? even if that were true, frick it, have at it. cost shouldn't be an issue for people to visit our national parks
