No one. They will never have the votes for anything bearing any resemblance to actual socialism.
It's being fed spoonful by spoonful and we'll take it. People will continue to say it's really not socialism because "what about roads and police" but slowly but surely it starts to take hold and grow.
In California they want to take over the electric companies, Liz Warren wants a gubment pharmaceutical company, others want gubment health care..
Sure, full blown socialism will have a hard time shoving a Boulder down your throat, but spoonful by spoonful, it will still happen

Socialism is absolutely gaining favor in the left, and it’s absolutely disgusting.
Socialist are scum. They deserve the ONLY thing that makes us equal. And thankfully, the only tangible thing socialist are any good at, is KILLING SOCIALIST.
They should be publicly shamed and executed.

Today's "common sense" was yesterday's Dystopian Nightmare. We are living in the crazy commie dystopia predicted by those stiff-necked 1950's fuddie-duddies that said Rock n Roll would ruin America. We didn't listen!!!
Think about how in 1900, you didn't need a fishing license, a hunting license, an occupancy license, a driver's license, etc to do anything. There was no social safety net, no income tax. If you failed at something, you literally just hopped on a train, went somewhere else, and tried again. Life was brutal, as there was no a/c, few places with electricity, no minimum wages, no restrictions on businesses whatsoever. However, it was also a lot more free. Someone who lived in that America would see the current America as both wonderful and terrifying.

A quick Google comparison of our labor participation rate compared to those of Scandinavian countries known for being more socialist than us doesn't reveal much of a difference.

There's literally nothing that Hank won't argue about. He's the Nancy Grace of the board. He'll argue with people that he agrees with then let everyone know he's a lawyer.

I don’t believe that to be the case at all.

That's a perfect description of him.

Yeah I'm starting to think he doesn't have any ideology. He just wants to argue.

It’s not his fault. Strickland closed down so poor ole propane hank just isn’t the same anymore.

Poster: The sky is blue
Hank: Look, stupid, agree that the sky is blue....in a way. It's really more of a cyan tone that can vary with a variety of environmental factors at any given time. But, of course you don't understand that because you're a mindless simpleton and not a lawyer like me.

No the sky isn’t blue. It has no color. What you’re seeing is just a refraction of light through the arhmosohere.
Psht you’re really stupid to think air has a color.
DAMMIT BOBBEH I TOLD YOU TO WALK LAAAAAADYBIRD

Objection. Argumentative.

I'll just leave this here:
Socialists in Congress with ties to the Communist Party
75 members of Congress is significant. Let's not forget, a Socialist candidate had widespread support for President in the last election cycle.
Creeping Socialism....the long game.

Hehehe
Seriously, I despise broad over-generalizations. They are not helpful in any sort of interesting discussion.
Yes, I do understand that they are GREAT for partisan pep rallies and that many see this place as such.

Although I agree with the quote it misses the mindset of leftists. I once overheard two fat women on the treadmill glaring at a very fit young girl wearing a two piece outfit to show off her flat stomach.
Fat 1: 'I hope that girl gets pregnant.'
Fat 2: 'Yeah, she can say goodbye to that stomach forever.'
Logically, that thin girl becoming fat was not going to make the fatties lose weight. It would just make them feel better.
Leftists know that soaking the rich will not end poverty. But it makes them feel better.

You despise opinions that are not your own. The thought of you being wrong never crosses your mind.

But if you actually watch, you will note that “opinion” is not generally what I post about. Generally, I observe and point out when someone makes an objective, factually-incorrect statement. Sorry, but I am very, very seldom wrong on those points.
