Thorbjørn Jagland has also been charged with gross corruption.

Økokrim requested the Council revoke his immunity after it launched an investigation earlier this month into allegations of gross corruption made against him between 2011 and 2018.

The so-called Epstein files appear to show instances where the late financier covered the travel expenses to his properties for Jagland and his family.

The former leader had planned a family trip to Epstein's private Caribbean island in 2014, but it was ultimately cancelled after Epstein fell ill.

Jagland also faces allegations that he solicited Epstein's help in obtaining a bank loan in another exchange, although it is not clear whether this materialised, according to Norwegian broadcaster NRK. Police have not confirmed whether this allegation is part of the gross corruption charge.

The problem is, I'm not, which I showed above.

And yet, you continue to avoid the question

That's you being a fricking dumbass who apparently doesn't know what the word "panican" even means. You won't find a more ardent Trump supporter here than me. I haven't questioned him at all in about a decade now.

There is nothing in the thread title, the original post, or my post that relates in any way to that. I thought you fashioned yourself as being some expert in rhetoric. BoarEd has started a good thread to discuss fall out of the Epstein files. I presume you are dedicated to ruining that discussion.

There's a lot of baiting and switching going on with this subject.

If you truly were just citing public corruption (without specifically doing so) then I apologize to you, but not to OP, who has promoted the Epstein sex abuse conspiracy theory for years and has even claimed that this document dump has helped prove the CT.

quote:

If he admits that nothing released furthers any theory relating to sexual abuse of Epstein or his orbit, then I will believe you. I'll wait to see if he does that or admits to the bait and switch.

ETA: For instance, he responded to another poster with

quote:

These people are lawyering up as we speak.

Why would they need to do this if it's just resigning due to being friends with JE?

Yeah, but you have the word 'keystonelite' in your user name so I'm not too concerned with what you think.

BoarEd can speak for himself, but it seems to be an idiom comparable with "on the hot seat"; "feeling the pressure", etc. and could be objectively true with lists of persons where "feeling the heat" would be appropriate such as:

(1) Steve Bannon
(2) Howard Lutnick
(3) the Gates Foundation
(4) Mette-Merit

and may be literally true with persons like Steve Tisch who is facing a conduct review by the NFL; and Casey Wasserman who is losing clients.

Well, I am of course AlterEd, but assuming you're talking about me, I've decided that if the SoB is going to be dishonest and keep his usual schtick of derailing threads going I'm just going to say my piece and ignore his stupid arse. He is clearly trying to detail the thread which is also par for the course with the guy.

I mean, I even went on to clarify my "overall argument" for the guy and point out that the sex abuse stuff is just the shocking surface level shite people fixate on while the bigger shite was going on in global financial circles related to all of this.

This thread lists several such type people. Do I know why they resigned? No. I'm just pointing out that they did.

I'm not. But you continue to avoid this question

quote:

How does engaging in a witch hunt against people based on evidence that has no relationship to sexual abuse further your claims related to that very sexual abuse?

Which could clarify your stance on the issue and clear some things up.

All you had to say was "these resignations have nothing to do with sexual abuse" and that would be that. I feel you don't truly believe that, though, and certainly don't want to give someone the opportunity to copy and paste an image of you saying that when you push that in the future.

But, you can answer yourself.
