There are many closeted queer republicans, but they are mistreated if they come out. US politics sho is crazy.

The ones who are mistreated are the ones who voted Democrat and publicly switch to Republican, but only mistreated by Democrats. Since Trump became POTUS, the party has a huge, welcoming tent. Trump has several gays in his administration. No one who supports Trump cares about their sexuality. They care about them doing their job.

I don't even care about people's politics in this climate. I want to be around good people. If I met this girl at a bar or something, we'd never get into politics, I'd assume she was a lib, but I'd be able to identify her good heart and that would be enough.
