maybe a rifle for hunting, but that's not what people think of when they think of mass shootings

so the guns that are responsible for 98% of gun deaths are ok, but the other 2% are bad. awesome logic.

They estimate as many as 10M AR 15 style rifles in the US alone. Even at $1K per, this means the buy back on those would be $10B.

People think of ar's in mass shootings, but the reality is that the overwhelming majority of mass shootings are carried out with guns that fit into your little "pocket rule"

Maybe? You go tromp around the backcountry of this land with your 9mm, I’d prefer a good rifle..

I'm sure the buy back price will be $100 gas card.

So according to you they don’t exist..but now that you know they do you feel qualified to dictate how they feed themselves? You are so naive, insulated, sheltered..do yourself a favor and shut the frick up for about 40 years...then start telling your opinion.

The gun buyback programs are nothing more than a sham

When they say "we're not coming for your guns", they're right. They'll never go house to house looking for guns. They'll take the pussy way out and outlaw them. If you're caught with one, they'll put you in prison for 50 years.

They don't fire as fast and don't hold as many bullets

Which is why they aren't nearly as solid for self defense in certain scenarios

you still have it if you truly need it for self defense. Just keep it hidden

Does that mean I can print all the AR lowers I want and sell them to the govt for $100 a pop? Seems like a tidy profit making scheme... trading $9 of ABS filament for $100 of gasoline?

The term 'buy back' still pisses me off when I hear it... first they never owned or sold it, and forcing a party into selling their property to you at a cost you set does not equal buying back... armed compulsory theft is more appropriate
