After the Maine controversy, where Democrats finally decided, Graham Platner's past was "one rape too far," they are trying desperately to pull off yet another Democrat Primary switcheroo.

Move over, Maine. A new Democratic primary has taken the crown as the country’s most dysfunctional.

In Wisconsin’s gubernatorial race, a crowded field of establishment-tied Democrats has been splitting the vote for months, giving democratic socialist Francesca Hong’s energetic campaign a lane to the nomination.

Recently, fearing Hong would lose the general election (and spooked by a seeming Republican effort to boost her chances), some in the party tried to coalesce around one candidate to stop her: Lt. Gov. Sara Rodriguez.

But that attempt disastrously backfired last week, when it turned out Rodriguez’s campaign had badly mismanaged its funds. It’s still not clear what happened, but the situation was so messy that she quit the race.

With Rodriguez gone, the two leading contenders appeared to be Hong and Mandela Barnes, the former lieutenant governor who was Democrats’ losing nominee for a Senate race in 2022.

Yet, party bigwigs were unhappy with those options and coaxed a candidate who had already dropped out — Milwaukee County executive David Crowley — back into the race, even though the primary is only three weeks away.

This weekend, Gov. Tony Evers endorsed Crowley in a last-ditch attempt to stop Hong (and, apparently, Barnes) from winning the nomination.

The chaos is all the more shocking ...

If they continue like this, these parties will become defunct.

Arent political races unlike my sons Pop Warner league where you have to sign up way before the first game starts? Or you’re ineligible

This happened to me when I ran for freshman class president. The girl I was going to run against forgot to pay her $12 by Sept 18th and I got more votes than any other candidate of any class.

Not bragging either. It was a technicality and the sad part?

I went to a school with 19,000 students and only 125 students voted…..that’s it. 125 out of 19,000.

The parties just mirror the population. We're a nation of imbeciles.

How a hard-Left victory in Michigan could kill off Democratic Party as we know it
by Benedict Smith
July 23, 2026

Fresh off a series of victories across the US, the Democrats' hard Left are on the cusp of their biggest victory yet.

Abdul El-Sayed, a progressive former health official, is locked in a struggle with Representative Haley Stevens, the establishment pick, to win the party's Senate nomination in Michigan.

It represents a battle for the soul of the Democrats. If Mr El-Sayed claims victory in Michigan, then the hard Left will claim their "crown jewel", according to one strategist.

And if Ms Stevens wins, she can show the party moderates that their faction still has a pulse – if a faint one.
...

Socialist, it seems, is no longer a dirty word.

According to a CNBC poll of 1,000 registered US voters released on Friday, voters are more likely to support a candidate who labels themselves as a Democratic Socialist than someone who identifies as a Maga supporter.
...

Mr El-Sayed's supporters, who include Left-wing stalwarts such as Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Bernie Sanders, have attacked Ms Stevens for accepting corporate money and claim she is beholden to special interests.

The congresswoman's speeches, in which she appears to have deliberately thickened her accent, have prompted mockery and further claims of inauthenticity online.
...

Amid all the factional infighting and scorched earth tactics, there is a risk that Democrats forget about what really matters: the midterm elections in a few months' time.

"It's not just a battle for the soul, but a battle for control of the Senate," said Mr DiSano.

The primary vote on Aug 4, whatever the result, may end up being a pyrrhic victory.

A recurrent theme?

Yep. I'm enjoying this. All the commies in Madison, Wi. are losing their shite. And now this BLM bullshite ramping up to protest for yet another violent criminal who attacked police and FAFO, is going to ensure Tom Tiffany, the Republican candidate, wins. I'm loving it.
