A 10-day UPS strike would be the most expensive strike in at least a century, costing the U.S. economy upwards of $7 billion, a study by the consulting firm Anderson Economic Group found, including $4.6 billion in losses for customers, $1 billion in lost wages and more than $800 million in direct losses at UPS.

There are at least 3 other shipping alternatives available. We're going to lose over $20B per month because UPS stops moving? Nah, I'm not buying that at all.

Going to be funny when Biden steps in. But remember, he is "for the Union!"

Where does this $7 Billion go? Is it chipped into the national debt?

A good starting point for the union, but how do you define a "livable starting wage".. that seems to be quite vague language

They better get Mayor Pete involved, I hope he’s available and not off on some type of leave.

Well, here we go with the idiots. What you don't understand is no other company can support the kind of volume UPS can. If they could UPS would've already been replaced. They've already been asked if they could handle it to which they responded, "No".Before you actually start spouting on opinionated fallacies, at least speak to someone who works for them.

Yeah this is dumb. This assumes that no one will ship anything when in fact they will just use other companies.

Hell this might even actually help the USPS make money.

Oh yeah, and they are the main company who ships the majority of anything medically sensitive. So good luck telling people, "we know you are gonna die but rest assured we will find a replacement for ups soon." Man, you know what you might be just as good as the idiot in the white house right now with that kind of thinking.
