It's a political strategy. If Trump and his administration are screwing up on the people's tax dollars and time, they have to divert attention against anyone other than themselves. They blame the media, the liberals, Obama, Clinton's emails, immigrants, anything they can to distract. It isn't a personal failing on their part, it is a deliberate political strategy to distract from the truth.
