The numbers are absolutely insane; it’s hard to imagine fraud on that scale going unnoticed until now. I’ll hold off on full-blown outrage until it’s confirmed that the payments actually went through. I suppose the silver lining, if this is true, we could possibly stop the financial train wreck that was set to ruin my kids’ future by just cleaning up the books.

Using this guy’s own numbers, total SS spending would be $10 trillion, but the debt clock says it’s only $1.5 trillion and total federal spending only $7.5 trillion.
I wouldn’t expect to see $500-800 billion in SS savings from stopping fraudulent payments like this guy is claiming.
Looks like the numbers Elon is reporting are people will SS numbers, not people receiving payments. Still should be cleaned up but don’t get your hopes up that this solves the debt crisis.
