Trump came out the next day and said if anything we pulled Israel into it.
You and I could sit down in front of a computer and spend hours going back through decades old footage of listening to these people chant Death to America and Death to Israel. We could do the same thing on listening to them calling the United States the Great Satan and Israel the little Satan. My friend these people have told us for years that Israel is evil but the United States is the greatest evil on earth to them. Israel dropping bombs on them would have nothing to do with it. We may want to move on from fighting wars but the regime in Iran has other ideas for us. The leaders of Iran and its proxies had the whole world to pick from when choosing its greatest most evil enemy and they chose us. We are #1 to them. That just the sad fact.

What are you taking about direct quotes?
My statement was DJT has never had a first-order principle other than what made him feel important and powerful in the moment. That’s now leading us all over the geopolitical map.

We better not do this or I will be done with Trump. The two main things I voted for him on were deporting all illegals and no boots on the ground in foreign wars. If he fricks up one of those he doesn’t have my support

Right off the bat a MEU isn’t 5K Marines dumbass.
Second we have two deployed at all times. I spent plenty of time cutting gator squares praying for something to kick off.
This was likely predetermined. Once we knew we had neutralized thier long range anti-ship missiles they moved them in.
Lastly, a MEU can do quick incursions and limited attacks. Maybe take an island. They would need a rapid deployment force for protracted warfare.
