No one is ignoring the subpoena now. They're fighting it in court.

Sure. And if reaches the highest court in the land and they side with Congress, then what?

Do you want your President to then comply?

1) I think he should turn it over now

2) People contest subpoenas every day. This IS lawful and not at all a "bad" thing.

He will follow the law then.

They won't, but, in the scary future where they did, it wouldn't matter. It's a tax return. I don't care about it.

ETA: for sure he'd comply

Fair enough.

Sure. I never suggested him challenging it was. I’m just curious what he does if the highest court rules against him. And moreso I’d like to get the opinions of his supporters as to what he should do if that happens.

At this point I think he should fight it just to prove this isn't required by law.

Why? When has Trump gone against a court order as President?

I'm good with it. I am not rabid either way. He is following a lawful course...so be it.

Same here. I think he's setting them up because his tax returns will tell them nothing. They're wasting time on something no one truly cares about.

Yep, he'll hand it over and go about his day same as it would have been had regardless....but knowing he did all possible to fight it. There isnt any fertile ground here for Dems. What are we going to learn? He made some risky financial moves that failed? Utilized bankruptcy? We already know...nothing new.

This is all based on someone who is currently in jail for lying to them. Because Cohen said maybe Trump inflated things to make himself look richer or poorer. His books may have been cooked maybe somehow. And today Cohen denied his other lie Lanny Davis told him to say...

Trump should leverage his tax returns for Mueller to publicly testify in front of congress. The Dems will never go for it.
Trump is never going to voluntarily give up his tax returns.

He's our president - unless you aren't a U.S. citizen.

Have they given a reason as to why they're demanding this info?

Because they are the Congress of the United States of America and they are using their broad discretionary power to make sure the President isn’t violating the law or using the office to enrich himself. That’s within their power.

Y’all post stuff like this and upvote it by side margins and then act shocked when liberals question your claims that racism isn’t a thing.

Is it that hard to stay on message and not act a fool?

You have gotten so weak lately. You’ve devolved to emojis and uninteresting insults. Really slipping.
