23 House Republicans suspect DOJ Cover-up in Progress? – Request “Prompt” Declassification

Twenty-three House republicans request declassification of documents directly from President Trump as soon as possible. Despite the executive office directive to AG Bill Barr, the republican group seemingly do not trust the DOJ and FBI institutional interests.
It’s a smart move to keep the pressure on.
Two weeks ago Judiciary Committee member John Ratcliffe outlined his view of U.S. Attorney John Durham as a benefactor of the declassification insofar as Durham could gain information for his “review”.
Rep. Ratcliffe noted Durham was essentially a ‘special counsel’ and could use access to documents as a tool toward a grand jury review [ergo DOJ declassification would be needed]. However, along with noting a possibility of John Durham’s intent, Ratcliffe was direct in tempering expectations of any upcoming public declassification.
The possibility of Durham exploiting/using documents declassified by his boss, AG Bill Barr, could suggest some of the material may not be made public; indeed that’s the inference from Ratcliffe two weeks ago as he outlined to Maria Bartiromo.
If accurate, it is worthwhile considering what *could be* publicly declassified by AG Barr, and yet not run afoul of any investigative value for Durham. Example: the declassification of the Rosenstein scope memos to Robert Mueller (no longer a reason to be hidden) would not seem to materially affect the investigative intents of Durham.
So considering investigative value, what documents could be purposefully made public that would not impede Durham?

FBI/ CIA will cover their arse... getting nervous about Barr. Huber/Horowitz are career govt lawyers. The deep state is still in power. Trump needs to go solo.

How can you investigate the investigators when they want to cover-up-- under the guise of protecting the institutions? We can only hope and pray Durham is not influenced by the swamp.

So Barr is Deep State now?

Wray sure seems to contradict Barr.
Wray says there is no evidence the agency spied on Trump’s 2016 campaign
Barr says ‘I think spying did occur’ against Trump campaign
Do you believe Barr or Wray? Being that it is out even in the news that Trump was indeed spied on. How can Wray justify his statement?

Wray has one of the most slappable faces I ever saw. For that alone he needs a pink slip IMO.

I'm glad these (R)'s put their name on this.
We know who deserves reelection when the time comes.

I don't think they want it released because the dirty laundry is so dirty the public will be disgusted and insist that they be reorganized and put under more control and that's the last thing the FBI, DOJ and all of these huge government entities want.

That's one hell of a deflection from a very simple question. Is Barr Deep State now?

Depends on how Barr proceeds. If he’s hell bent on protecting the reputation of the DOJ, he will deal with the corruption behind the scenes. That would be a deep state response imo. He’s talked a good game so far. We’ll see.
I hope he exposes it all and prosecutes crimes. That’s what we need.
