It did not matter. They always vote one way unless they are in the hot seat in their district. They also lose DNC money if they misbehave.

Why is it tha5 when Republicans are in control everyone all of a sudden everyone forgets that reconciliation is a thing? Is there some senate rule I am unaware of that states only Democrats can use reconciliation to circumvent filibuster on budgetary bills?
