Put a stopwatch on the filibuster - probably has about 90 days left.

Nebraska is closer than I want it to be, but even assuming an R win there, 56 seat senate is a total disaster for the next 2 years.

Prediction markets have flipped to Dem winning Mississippi (close to 80%).

I still feel like what’s still left to be counted should favor smith.

56 seat senate

they won't end up with 56

55 is the max... but, considering they were going to be really happy with simply gaining majority, tonight is a great night for them...

removing the filibuster is never happening after tonight imo. too risky. Unless the far left gains enough influence which it looks like they wont. Alot of the new pickups are moderate Dems , Manachin was able to stop the Dems from removing the filibuster in 2021

but now that 20-30 pt swings are possible, even with a Dem trifecta in 2028, they could easily lose in 2032 and hand all of that power to a winning GOP trifecta

if Obama got rid of the filibuster in 2009 when he almost had 59 seats the Dems wouldve been fricked by 2014 and they lost the Senate, Congress

Add Mississippi. Whether it flips or not, it’s a 22 point swing to Dems from 2024

i'd love it if they released them... but Blanche will do everything in his power to protect his boss... so, not likely to happen, regardless of who's in congress...

shite, they passed a fricking bipartisan law and they still said frick you to Congress... yeah, that shite ain't never coming out in total... won't happen, and if you are being HONEST, you know why
