Saguaro Strategies

The biggest takeaways so far are that 18-24 yr olds are only 4.2% and 25-34 yr olds are only 8% of the returns.

Every state I’ve looked at for early voting, mostly swing states, people under 40 were making up at most about 14% of the votes cast. Not good for Joe.

Good. Nothing against them, because they didn't do it to themselves, but those are the age groups who have been brainwashed the most.

I find it disturbing that AZ can have 2 Democrat Senators.
Who am I kidding? They had 2 for the last 20 years

Quick question though, why would 25-35 year olds vote early?

Rush just said the enthusiasm for voting among 18-29 year olds is the lowest for a presidential election since 2000.

I think the takeaway is that the party breakdown is by how a person is registered. Some states, when you register to vote you register with a party affiliation (because of closed primaries). Other states, like here in Georgia, you don't declare a party, and in primaries you pick which ballot you want the day you go vote.

My guess is this...
The hope is that older voters, even if they are registered Democrats, are less likely to vote for Biden because of the radical lean to the left of the Democratic party. Younger voters are more likely to lean that way and support it.

However, I think this may be a misguided hope. I think even a lot of middle of the road Dems will still vote blue.

Old people take the time to fill out their ballots and mail them.

Young people can't be bothered.

I live in Arizona and every conservative I know is going to turn their mail ballot in on election day in person at a polling center because it is too important to risk getting lost in the mail.

Thank you for the reply.. but to me it simply seems more democrats are voting than republicans... that is what alarming to me... if I am reading the stats right.

Most of the people I know will only be voting in person. I think that will be true of many Trump supporters who don't trust the mail schemes.

Democrat early vote is typically 2 or 3 to 1

For sure. They may not be fully on board with the progressive lean of the party, but they really hate Trump. The enthusiasm gap may hurt Democrats, though.
