My guess is that one could find something wrong with just about every morsel of food we put in our mouths thus if we worried about that too much, starvation or malnutrition would take us out faster then some of this other stuff.

Snake wine.

You haven't lived until you've cruised down the Lee River sipping snake wine.

Yeah, I just saw an episode of Extreme Cheapskates. The guy in Los Angeles charges $40 for his 'how to cook cheap' class.
He served the 5 idiots some wine and lobster that he said you could prepare for less than a dollar. After they ate it he explained 'I got it all from a dumpster last night for free.'

Three pages in, and no one has yet noticed that this is from some dumbasses with a website called "Boredom Therapy"?

Yeah, when Publix opened in NC a few years ago I asked why they didn't have local NC shrimp/catfish (being less than 7 miles from an ocean) they looked at me funny.

My local Publix had shrimp from Alabama, Florida, and South Carolina Sunday when I was there but also from Thailand and Indonesia. The USA shrimp was about $2 lb more. That doesn’t bother me to pay more but a lot of people only look at price.
If you ask the people at the seafood counter they can get almost anything you want. But it comes at a price.
I asked why they didn’t have red snapper from the gulf and they said they could order it but it would be $23 lb.

I like how the article thinks it's necessary to tell us that plastic cancer pellets in rice is gross.

I think all those are fine. Just stay away from the "Cat, Bat, and Rat" entrée's.

Damn, 50%?! I rarely drink them, but I do enjoy a cold glass of apple or grape juice. No one should buy anything but Martinelli's apple juice though.

I only drink coffee, beer, wine, bloody marys and single malt scotch, so i should be gud.

People who are scared of their food seems odd to me.
Just my opinion.

I used to buy Jack Links jerky occasionally.A few years ago I bought a bag and studied the label,it says packaged in U.S. no mention of the source. It actually had Chinese writing down in bottom L hand side of bag (on back).I threw it away.
I would check the bags occasionally and eventually they removed the Chinese writing.
I checked it today, still no mention of source, only that it is FDA inspected meat, packaged in U.S.
Now if I buy jerky if read the label carefully and if the source isn’t listed I don’t buy it.
