Haven’t you been starting threads all day melting about how out of control this is? And yet, here you are posting TACO.

I'm sure they'll make a public statement

That would be lovely. Consider me a sceptical though.

I don't think things are over. But even 2 weeks of the free flow of vessels through the strait is good news.If it stayed closed for another 2 weeks things would have started getting critically bad.

I don’t understand at all how people can complain all day that we are about to commit war crimes, said war crimes don’t happen and the SOH is opened……….and we complain about TACO?

Because everyone involved in this "debate" have carefully constructed "win/win" scenarios for themselves and their side. It is easy to see that neither "side" could lose because they both have outs no matter what happened.

Why give a regime that has shown no regard for anyone but themselves any rope boggles my mind. Who have they not aggressed in the past 4 weeks? What have they down with countless numbers of their own citizenry.....and not even speaking to their antics for darn near five decades

Name one thing - just one - that this regime has contributed to the betterment of the global community - one, just one

This is a bloodlust regime wrapped in a theocracy that totally disregards the sanctity of life.

Dude is a fricking clown. Can’t believe anybody still defends him. And I voted for him 3 times. He’s lost it.

This is indeed better news than we have had. But tell me how this isn’t an utter embarrassment for him after his insane ranting and praising of Allah. I’m glad he backed down as usual; but let’s not act like it’s because of any diplomacy on his part.

I am really curious to see what is in the 10 point plan. If they hand over the uranium that would make me happier about this.

His rants were conditional with regards to opening the strait. If they open the strait under this new agreement how would it be functionally different than what he asked of them?
