And my post is not a knee jerk reaction to this one issue. We have over 2 years to know that the federal deficit is certainly not going down under DJT. It's actually ballooning more than ever before. That being said, and as I originally posted, he did not run on shrinking debt. These RINOs are the hypocrites.

Yeah, hard to envision anyone opposing making bridges and roads safe for travel. That's all.

Before we start throwing money at infrastructure, we need to change laws to make infrastructure projects cheaper

Yet here we are having to come up with more spending for what was supposedly already being addressed. I wonder what our tax dollars have been going towards?

The last big one was for green energy...
The previous were roads and bridges...but maybe 600B made it in as other projects looted the omnibus...that was over 10 years ago

Might go down better than the $2 trillion tax reform that was either going to net me $6.15 or $6,150 and I got neither.

Speaking of, it looks like they should fund public toilets on every corner of San Francisco.
That's a local issue, let the Sewers of SF fix their own shi, stuff.

This is simply a removal of a Dem issue by Trump. There are no hard and fast details of anything. But now the Dem nominee cannot campaign on:

"If I am elected I will fix the broken infrastructure ignored by Trump."

It's actually kinda brilliant.

Will we cut spending first?

Undue the tax cut and cut defense. If Trump refocused our national spending to the benefit of America, I would vote to re-elect him.

Im all for that condition as well...as long as in the meantime it's your family that dies in a bridge failure and not mine. Deal.

the common defense is the one true reason that the national government exists,

we should not have a department of education, the corporation for public broadcasting, HUD, SBA, USGS, Rural Electrification Administration, HHS, NEA, and dozens of others.

Amazing considering that we’ve been paying taxes for all these years, and they we were always told they were for our roads and bridges. Yet here we are having to come up with more spending for what was supposedly already being addressed. I wonder what our tax dollars have been going towards?

And here it is right here folks, the crux of the matter. State transportation departments across the country are running barebones and broke. Not because they over spent their budgets, at least not entirely, but because tax money that was supposed to be getting used for road construction and maintenance has been getting siphoned away for other things.

God only knows what some of those things are.....

I just sued Jackson-Hewitt to stop their release so the true extent can’t be known.

Jackson-Hewitt would have released them to me had you not sued them? Interdasting.

Considering I didn’t get my share of the $6,150 and I’m still in traffic, this sounds like a great idea.
