Is this the left's new talking point? A bunch of my leftie friends are sharing this doom porn gleefully to own Drumpf. I suspect they don't actually believe it

I'd bet $1,000 that the number of healthy people offering themselves because of social distancing, businesses going under, and getting laid off + drug ODs since people are alone is 10x that number ( of mostly unhealthy people who were going to die this year anyways).

Per the CDC, 61,132 / 140,571 = 43.5% BECAUSE OF COVID

A couple of days ago, Occam was using this same source to make a similar claim when I told him that he was in error because he was too lazy read whole page where it clearly states that the figures he's using are provisional and that the data doesn't come in until 1-8 weeks later. He eventually came to understand that what I was saying was true. But here he is gaslighting you.

I suppose that COVID is once again, one of the top three leading causes of death in the US. There is no other rich country for which that statement is true.
