Your logic doesn't follow. The "pedo priest" problem is fundamentally one of homosexuality and pederasty. These men standing up against homosexuality and offering prayerful witness wish to solve many problems at once, because most problems caused by homosexuality are rooted in the homosexual's sheer inability to keep their hands of each other or go after boys just entering puberty. Which is why gays should not be Priests and why most of the abuse would not have occurred had they not been let into the seminaries to begin with.
