FANTASTIC!!? No

It was entertaining but not FANTASTIC!!

Cooper was good but the movie left a lot to be desired and jumped around a lot.

I thought it was fricking awesome. I agree it left some to be desired, but the action of the movie had me on edge, was intense!

On a purely action front it was good but even that part of it was a letdown because it lacked any real peak. They tried to create one (I won't post it because of spoilers) but even it was pretty boring because it was so predictable.

Lone Survivor was a better overall film IMO.

My wife really liked it, said it was a 10/10.

I thought it was good, I'd give it an 8.5.

Did it cover the whole thing that happened at the gun range or did it leave that out of the story?

It was a pretty good film. But not brilliant. Fury was better imo.

I dont think it is Oscar nomination worthy.

American Sniper lags behind a number of recent American war films imo. Is the action intense? To a certain degree. But I definitely wouldn't call this brilliant or fantastic.

Absolutely not. I agree.

However, it was very enjoyable.

worth watching, nothing spectacular.
didn't like how the movie was laid out and presented, but it did have some good points and messages, just sucked at presenting them.

shouldn't win awards but probably will b/c hollywood is stupid.

Watched it last night. Enjoyed it but I didn't really like Coopers Texas accent. Made it hard to hear a few things he was saying.

Spoilers.. maybe?

I kind of got an "Enemy at the Gates" type of feel for the later half of the movie with the whole sniper vs sniper thing. Was still a good movie but that and it skipping around so much was kind of odd
