Mentioned that Owens didn't have us in his top 3 and will revise on Dent Adel. Don't think Owens should be removed because of a top 3.

Owens doesn't have a committable offer at this point and we are out of his top 3 take him down. I think some new names leaked yesterday but not sure.

I posted this in old thread, but I still think Jack McVeigh will be good. He's a 6'8" SF/SG who will be playing college ball somewhere in the States.

If LSU starts pursuing him I'll add him to the thread.

On his verbalcommit dot com page it has LSU as Medium interest since January... I think we do have interest in him, but because he is an Aussie, it doesn't get much publicity seeing that they dont really follow college basketball over there.

If we just signed your "more realistic class" that would still be a great class.

LSU 2015 Depth Chart as I see it right now

LSU Depth Chart 2015
PG Gray SR Quarterman JR Patterson SO
SG Hornsby SR
SF Simmons FR Bridgewater JR
PF Martin JR/Mickey JR Epps SO
C Robinson SO Malone JR

I think one of if not both Martin and Mickey leave early as they should, if both come back watch out. Either way if everyone comes back we have a guaranteed 3 spots open, with one already filled by Mr. Simmons.

So just say one of our sophomore pogo sticks leaves early you have 4 spots.

My dream class.
SF Simmons
PF Dickerson
SG Sampson
SG/PG Blakeney

Another wing is an absolute must and with Dickerson add a really solid post.

Backup Class
SF Simmons
SG Sampson
SG/PG Lott
PF/C Graduate Transfer

Would not be surprised especially by who comes back if CJJ and staff decide to add a veteran free agent transfer to the mix. Very safe way to add a 10-12 ppg scorer in either the post or wing spot, that will bring immediate leadership and depth.

No problem man. Real life comes first. If you're busy don't feel you like you owe us anything. Take care of that stuff first and don't worry.

McVeigh is flying under the radar big time. 6'8" guy that can play the 2. I think if CJJ wants him he will come to LSU. He wouldn't start his first year but i think he is a really solid player. Pretty skinning but looks like he could add weight easily

He would be a nice guy to nurture for a year or two then expand his role...not as much a project as malone, his game would translate to minutes quicker

I think he's a better prospect than that, but I do agree that wouldn't be an instant impact guy. Certainly would get minutes.

Two CB's, including one from Jerry fricking Meyer. Though I wouldn't put too much stock into them, because the Crystal Ball predictions for basketball seem to be even bigger crapshoots than for football.
