A.J. is a very good qb but when he has to carry a team without a running game ie... the Saints as of now, he can't produce like a big time wb can. He might prove me wrong but I doubt it

Well, Payton greeting him right away seems to suggest that Payton likes him.
He could just like him personally.
Or the greeting could have been "Hey I fricking hate you." Or maybe he wants to get up on KWebb.

Payton REALLY likes AJ is very misleading. Just because I go see a band does not mean I REALLY like them.

There's always the possibility of this.
Greeting could have been very simply an exchange of "frick you's" followed by "eat dicks"

it's a tweet from Danny Kanell that said-
Saints HC Sean Payton just walked all the way across practice field to give personal hello to AJ McCarron. Saints could be a good fit IMHO
