With the non league getting close to coming to an end, where do you think the league stands vs other conferences? Is it stronger or weaker then the last 4-5 years? In my personal belief, i think the conference is every bit as good if not better. The B1G has the #3, #4 and #5 ranked teams in the country and a NCAA best 8 teams with 10 wins already. I can see 9 teams making the NCAA tourny this season. The big question remains, while the conference is the deepest and most competitive, does the B1G have a national championship caliber team that can end the B1G drought?

Big 10 and Big 12 are probably the 2 best leagues this year.

MSU and Wisconsin could make a run. Ohio St is very overrated.

I could see 9 schools in the Tourney too and I think Wisconsin has looked the most impressive.

I would say the B1G is easily the best conference right now. I mean 7-4 Michigan just beat a Stanford team the had just given UConn their only loss of the season. Illinois also just gave Missouri their first loss of the season. Those are middle of the pack B1G teams beating other conferences best teams. I think that displays the depth of the B1G. I think that the PAC 12 is off to a good start and is the 2nd best conference right now.

The teams arent as good as last year. The best team this year, either Wisco or State would have been the 3rd of 4th best team last year.

I agree with the the top, but i think the depth of the league is better. I think Illinois, Minnesota, Purdue and especially Iowa are better then they were last year. So while you think the top 2 teams arent as good, i think overall the conference is much stronger. Even Nebraska and Penn St are improved.

My darkhorse is Iowa. That team is very dangerous!

Big 12 has a higher conference RPI than the Big 10.

However, Big 10 is still slightly better but its not by as much as most think.

Lol theyve played better teams than you think. At least more than you think.

I think the B1G is the best conference this year but not by a ridiculous amount. Theyll have about 8 teams make the tourney, but it will take some luck(as always) for them to make the final four and win it all. League play will be so much fun to watch though.

Indiana and Michigan have fallen a bit after losing great players, but I believe they will get stronger as the season progresses because they have good coaches.

And they are both pretty young. If Zach Irvin can figure it out, Michigan can be really good.

The Big 10 is just as good as last year but obviously the ACC is greatly improved with the additions they made so they are close as the top 2 conferences.

at the person who mentioned the Big 12

Big 12 is underrated every year. Has one elite team every year (maybe 2 this year) and is probably a 6 bid league (out of 10). Never gets enough love and I actually believe that has a lot to do with Kansas absolutely dominating the league making it look scrubbish
