I'm listening to "Live Evil" right now. I love this album, but it is not for everybody.

Surprised it took that long for someone else to say it. "Right Off" is probably my top Davis song, and the intro to it is bar none my favorite few minutes of his music. The legend goes that :

Sweet tidbit. Jack Johnson is one of the greatest fusion albums ever recorded. McLaughlin and Miles are all over this album. If you haven't already, check out the box set as it gives insight into the creative process of Miles and his amazing ensemble.
