Observations from Blue Bell Field last night....

This was my first visit to TAM...
Fans-Very courteous and friendly with the exception of the small, but obnoxious student section behind first base.
Stadium- Very average, at best. It's hard to believe that it is only two years old. However, the actual playing surface is top notch!
Atmosphere- Hard to tell with such few fans due to the weather.
Misc- Maintenance crew did a great job getting the field ready for play.
Our Tigers- are a class act, even in defeat. They'll bounce back tonight.

I saw a ton of standing water in the outfield during the first inning. I couldn't believe they played it, to be honest.

That's because it's 30 years old...

They want you to believe that. They renovated the park in 2012.

You live in St John's? Spent a lot of time in St Croix

It's a pretty park. Nice place to watch a game. I'm not blown away by any means but it's nice.

So what you're saying is that they're just like most college places outside the SEC. They have nice fans, but don't have the facilities that we have.

I don't think they really even did much outside of adding that big nice brick entrance facade
