Wade & LeBron are basically banking on their athleticism will bring a title to south beach.

^That kind of offense can only work for so long before real teams like Chicago/San Antonio shut you down.

Miami might possibly have the worst half court set offense in all of basketball behind Charlotte.

Agreed. I've got Bulls v. Thunder in the title game.

What else would you run with Lebron and Wade. Of course they are gonna run isolation. They are two of the best offensive players in the league. They made it to finals last year, and they have a better supporting cast this year. They may not make it but I surely wouldn't bet my house against it.

You do realize that is at the end of the game and they do in fact have an offense they run?

It's a variation of the triangle offense, but with more isolation bc Dwade and Lebron are more get to the rack players than jump shooters. It's not as structured but the Lakers seem to have won a bunch of titles with it. When the Heat struggle is when they get out of their offense and free lance

I will let others ramble on about the Heat's offense

but I do not think that team has really improved much

I don't think they win it this year either but not b/c of their O

I don't think the roster is strong enough, even with the big 3, should be a fun playoff season though

People are being overly reactionary again. Last season the Heat were 1-6 against Boston and Chicago in the regular season and people were beating them up for it. They beat those same two teams a combined 8-2 in the playoffs. They might not win a title, but their issues right now are being exagerrated.

Oh lord. Possibly the two best players in the league. Another allstar. Mike Miller, Battier, Chalmers, Haslem. Yeah that isnt strong enough

If the big three goes two years without winning a title it will be the biggest fail in NBA history

nor do I. Their bench is particularly suspect, especially with long series against much more balanced teams, i.e., Bulls.

Are you saying two years total (meaning they'd have to win it this year to avoid the fail), or two years from now? Just curious.

They ain't winning it all this year, I can tell you that right now

Nah, they are the favorite for good reason. They may not win, but I think they have a better chance than anyone else.

They'll win as long as they're not playing Memphis in the finals.

I've got a feeling they'll beat Chicago to win the East. It may come down to game 6 or 7, but I think they'll pull it through.

If they face San Antonio in the Finals, they'll win.
If they face Oklahoma City, I think it'll go to a game 7 where anyone could win.

It's going to be an exciting NBA playoffs. One of the better ones in recent memory (with Oklahoma City, Lakers, Spurs, and Memphis in the West and Miami, Chicago, and Boston in the East).
