Drew Brees' 2011 has to be one of the single best seasons by a QB in NFL history.

Don't forget that Brees has the record for most 5000+ yard passing seasons.

What is the individual record for 400 yard passing games in a season?

Or games in a season with 5 or more passing TD's?

It wasn't that long ago Dempsey had about the only positive record for the Saints in the NFL record book.

Yeah, I think the only record I can recall before 2006 was Aaron Brooks record for backwards passes.

there were plenty of records, just not the ones ya wanna remember

Some of those still make me say, Dayum that bad can be hard even if you were trying to do it. I mean 20 years to break .500?!?! For those 30 and under, try to imagine if this was the first winning (not playoffs, just .500+) season since 1991.

as far as national press, back in the day, the saints were the media darlings... of the old football follies shows.
