....on 97.3 The Zone in B'Ham that had the fake punt occurred in a "17-14 game in the 4th quarter", that punter Brad Wing would not have been flagged, but would have been given a good talking to by the officials. This pisses me off even more that the freaking flag. Of course Steve, who is a Bama grad & lives in Birmingham, said he had no problem with the flag.

I'm more concerned that SEC officials get all the calls right in Tuscaloosa on 11/5. History says that they won't.

I can't stand Jay Barker or Al Del Greco on the OD, so I havent listened for years. This new show, on 97.3 has Tide play by play guy Eli Gold & Auburn's Stan White, who are tolerable. They at least talk about other sports besides the Tide & Aubie Tigers.

This is the point I made yesterday, it was the Refs intention to send a signal in a scoring situation where it would not affect who would win or lose.
In this sense it was more humiliating to Florida and a message that even the refs did not think they had a chance

As shown Saturday it's simply a terrible rule which is just asking for trouble.
Should be a 15 yard penalty assessed on the PAT or kick off.

Not 1 bit of embellishment. I stand by what I posted. I worked at BellSouth/AT&T with Steve for many years & I know him personally. I always respected him & his crew over the years. I have no reason to throw him under the bus. He definitely said it as I posted. Believe what you want. I'm not sure if 97.3 has an archive as they are a fairly new show in town.

When it happened I was like "You know....ok...It's a terrible stupid rule but in the confines of it I guess it was the right call."
Then I go back and watch the replay and see the DAMN THING HAD TO BE PUT IN SLOW MO JUST TO NOTICE IT. Also noticed the refs hollering at our players ALL DAY not to mention both signal TD while the bitch back judge is the only one with the problem.
NOW, I hear this is said? ARE YOU KIDDING ME? This is by far the biggest joke I've heard in some time.

When it is showed on the sports programs it is shown full speed from his backside at a good distance but when they show it from his front side they put it on slow mo, I would like to see full speed from the front, no one shows that

Oh great, we have the SEC office in Alabama and we have the head SEC ref who is a Bama alumni..
this can't be good-at all...LSU has been jammed so many times in that state..
