That’s the main reason we went with them, no local dealers. When you’re ready to upgrade let me know. Lol

I thought they were getting out of the mower business?

I am partial to the Dixie choppers but I have had several commercial guys tell me grasshopper is the best.

I've had all the high end commercials. Exmark, scag, and deere. They all have pros and cons. Scag and deere handle thick wet grass better as well as weeds. For pure grass that's not high or wet you can't beat the cut quality of exmark. I'm running a turf tiger 2 with a 37hp efi vanguard and it's a beast. Everybody I know with bad boys have problems. Nothing major like engine or hydros but little things that keep the mower inoperable. Don't know many hustler owners but the ones I do are pleased. For 5k though most are going to be close to each other for value

I'm in the market. Mine caught fire the other day.

Am considering the bad boy maverick? Thoughts?

This individual knows what he's talking about. I owned a lawn service for 15 years that I started while I was in the military. I had 4 workers and have had many machines. The best decks are the Velocity Plus and the 7 Iron. Hands down. Nothing comes close to the way those 2 decks will throw clippings and handle wet grass.
The Vanguard by Briggs & Scrapiron is the best engine for the money available out there.

I bought a exmark quest. It's been good.
If I had to do it again I'd get a Hustler. Rides better, cuts better, deck was welded, and was $300 cheaper. I bought the exmark because of the dealer who then went to shite when he retired 3 years later.
