Any of you guys know any guided hunts that are for youth. I just want to sit with him. Everything I find has to be a paid adult. I don't care about shooting just spend some time outside of our normal hunting and him have a chance at a nice buck. Any info would be appreciated.

Not looking for a meat hunt, can kill all the doe and small bucks we need at our camp. Want to take him somewhere more than anything for the experience.

That being the case, I would not expect any "Youth" deals

Don't mind paying for him, not looking to pay for myself to sit with him without a weapon. Found very few places that don't require one paying adult then will cut a deal on the youth.

Go check out Texas Exotic Hunting on Facebook. Join group and post what you're looking for. Guides will tell you what they have to offer.

Just curious, why do you want a canned trophy hunt for a youth.

Kansas has an early youth season. Not sure just what you are looking for, but they would need to feed and house two of you.

Didn't say anything about "canned hunt" but the bottom line is my son at 12 has 4 mounts on the wall from 127, 129, 130, 137. Our place in Mississippi that's about the extent of what we will get given the surrounding factors. I want to take him somewhere different, expand his hunting environment, see new trees.

Not sure what your budget is, but Illinois has a 3 day early season youth gun hunt October 7-9. I know Hadley Creek Outfitters and others around Pike county do a guided hunt where the parent hunts with their son/daughter. If the weather is good, you have a decent chance of getting a shot at a big one.

ETA: Missouri also has a similar firearm youth season that I believe is a little later in the season than Illinois. Not familiar with any outfitters there, but Putnam, Schuyler, and Mercer counties are all very good areas.

That is pretty awesome for a young man, I would suggest doing something different, go on a prong horn hunt, a pheasant hunt, maybe elk, black bear, mule deer, axis deer

At 12 he has better white tails then most will have in a lifetime, if you want him to see something different, then go different
