I've noticed the same thing. I have found some times I get a better bite one one and not the other. Usually keep a gallon ziplock with 5 or 6 packs of them. When fishing is good its nothing to go through 2 packs in a day

I've NEVER been one to use crank baits. I guess everywhere I fish has crap floating up off of the bottom and it just pisses me off getting hung up every 3ft. Also doesn't help that I haven't even had a single bite off of a crank bait.

When you find brush throw it in there . A 200 series bandit will go thru anything a spinnerbait will .

i have no luck with spinner baits. i just accept i suck using them. I have buddies who can cast in the same spot after me with the same bait and they will catch them and i wont

Posted by ToulatownTiger i have become a fan of the blue sapphire speed craw lately. Very effective down south LA

I stayed away from that color for so long because it looks so damn unnatural to me, but dammit it works.

You can't bass fish the spillway with a junebug speed craw. The goggle eye annihilate them.

small baitshop in ponchy where all the more experienced fishermen go from round here always has them in stock. The owner only buys the baits that the fish are biting on. If he has the bait, someone has caught fish on it before. he will also order anything if he gets enough request for it
