They are having a field day at our place since the storm set the deer back big time. We're pretty much planning on hunting coyotes all year since you can barely get a deer picture without a coyote 10 minutes later

Do what you want, but that's a grown deer leg. If you think that coyote had anything to do with killing it then you probably think vultures killed all those possums they're eating in the roads.

Clearly a squatch beat the shite out of that deer and the coyotes are taking advantage.

I think coyotes kill very few healthy adult deer.

I don't think they kill any. Just my opinion.

Our deer are very un-healthy right now though, and I have no doubt the coyotes are doing a number on the population. They are at least having their way with the mommy-less fawns I'm sure.

If they are killing any, regardless of size, its too many.

Coyotes can absolutely take down a full size deer. It is just not very common.

Studies have shown that they can effect deer populations in some areas. In other areas, not so much.

They do noticeably impact the rabbit population and that's plenty enough reason for me to smoke every one I see.

I though you were in Missouri.

I fly to Mo on Tuesday and was wondering.

If you aren't hunting yotes you shouldn't kill one while deer hunting.
