So much fail and butt hurt in this thread it makes me doubt wheather or not some of you are actually men. Right now you all sound like nosey bunch of cackling old hens. But but but hes buying rifles and selling them for a profit thats illegal. Cry me a fricking river. Some of you may remember a time when you could buy a gun at a hardware store so if you want to be pissed off at anything be pissed off at the federal government who took away your rights and started all this shite, not the guy who found away around it. Honestly what this guy is doing is no different than what hundreds of dealers do at gunshows. Now how many of you are for shutting down gunshows and closing those loopholes?

No one had mentioned the.liability that the ffl licensee at academy and warmer have in this scheme. They are not allowed to knowingly sell to someone who's sole intent is to resale or is purchasing for another person. They could possible have their license revoked.
Hell they could be in on the deal.

If you're okay with a world where that guy can profit while keeping guns out of actual intended users' hands, then I don't know what to tell you.
What he's doing isn't lawful, plain and simple. Whether you agree with these laws or not is your own opinion.

I figured one of yall would have already jumped on this? Dealers have to submit background checks at gunshows just like they do at their stores. There is NO SUCH THING as a gunshow loophole. If you believe there is, and continue to say there is a gun show loophole, you are only perpetuating a myth supported by Obama, Pelosi, Feinstein, Sarah Brady, Rahm Emmanuel, etc. We have already had this discussion at length right here in this forum within the last week.

That statement is a classic fail. You obviously have never been to a gunshow and this statement proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that you have absolutely no clue as to what you're talking about. It's someone else's turn now. This is the last time I'm kickin this dead horse. :beatdeadhorse:

Perhaps you're mad, but I assure you that I'm just fine.
As I've posted previously, I've got no problem with OkieTiger narcing the guy out to the ATF. If he's actually making straw purchases and/or selling guns illegally, he deserves what he gets.
However, I found it ironic that OkieTiger and his other gun counter acquaintances are shopping often enough to "know when the trucks come in" and to recognize the other shoppers, particularly this one character sporting a "The U" sweatshirt. Based on his appearance, and a little Q&A, they were able to determine that he was unemployed, collecting welfare, committing tax evasion, etc.
Meanwhile, Okie and his friends, who seem to be exhibiting similar behavior (w/ regard to lurking at the gun counter) are "good citizens". What are they doing with all of the guns and ammo they're buying? Hoarding? Surely not reselling purely for profit - thats illegal. At least homeboy is putting his back out on the market where I have a chance of buying one.
I did take a cheapshot at Okie about spending time with his new born son. Obviously, no reasonable person is hauling an infant to WalMart to shop for guns. Part of his justification for his own current unemployment was to spend more time with his son. I couldn't resist asking if part of his father/son bonding strategy was shopping for guns and ammo every day.

I was thinking that. Probably throwing some cash back at a guy or two for letting him know when they have them.

Probably because they're missing out and having to go back, because of the guy who is reselling. Probably wouldn't have to continue going back, if that individual wasn't doing what he's doing.

Calling bullshite hypocricy on all of you. Yes Ive been to gunshows and Ive seen sellers in the parking lot showing off and selling off rifles and pistols. You really think they stopped and said hey lets step inside so we can run a background check on you. Dont have a problem with it. Hell theres posters on this board doing the same thing. Dont have a problem with it. Running around crying about it because someone is out there parting fools from their money, I call that fail and butthurt. Most of you dont give a shite about what the laws governing firearms commerce are you are just pissed because you didnt get in on the game when they did. Love the hypocrisy omg there are to many laws, the ATF's a bunch of ****, Finestein wants to take my rifle and my 30rd Pmags, what a black guy is buying and selling guns P2P, omg quick call the ATF. In the immortal words of Jesse Ventura, "Bunch a slack jawed ****."

Two questions and then I'm done :beatdeadhorse:
1. Do you have ANY idea how gun shows work?
2. You mad?

Lightning has struck twice. I've agreed twice in one week with Alahunter.
Every one of those guys in line other than this one is just trying to get a gun. The only exception I know is one younger guy who got one, and is trying to score one for his dad. He'll net zero dollars on the deal.
Really surprised to see a few defending this guy.
