A guy I know used to be paid by African govts to hunt down lions and such that killed humans. He has a picture he snapped right before shooting a lion that was eating one of his guides. He made a painting of the photo, he does a ton of wildlife and civil war paintings. I’ve seen the actual photo but here is the painting of the photo

Guy has some incredible stories. And a badass house

That’s pretty screwed up to have a painting like that displayed in your house. If that guy was an ambulance driver and had pictures of severed bodies at a crash site displayed at his house it would be about the same thing.
I bet he has seen a lot of crazy stuff in his life though.

Yeah that is pretty intense. Bet that guy has some stories.

Saw a couple of massive snapping turtles at Fort Pickens on Sunday. Dinosaurs.

some pitcher plants at Yellow River Marsh

Barred Owl at Piney-Z lake in Tallahassee

And a Heron with what I believe is a snake, but not 100% sure. It was kind of far away, he thrashed it pretty good. Also at Piney-Z lake.

I love the lighting from the sun on the water spouts from the whales. Cool stuff Roger.

There's one around here too. This is from late 2021 but I've heard he's still roaming south of here.

He's got brown on his face so, technically he'd be a piebald. But yeah.

Taken at the front of my neighborhood

Was there a killdee flapping around showing you the orange underside of her wing acting wounded?

I haven't seen one do that in years. Really makes me think back to when I was a kid when I see that.

Incredible pictures in this thread.

I'd be curious to know everyone's camera setup. I'm about to splurge on a mirrorless Canon.
