Most of these photos were taken in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, the brown pelican photos were taken near Lacombe, Louisiana, and the sunrise with the old house was taken somewhere in north Texas.

Incredible photos as always! How in the world do you get that close to a fox?

amazing pics brother .... are those ravens, or crows ? I'm thinking ravens. The close-up details of the feathers and plumage is incredible.

the Grand Tetons are truly a special place with endless photographic opportunities. I noticed the ducks puddling in the meandering stream . (might even be geese)

This one was about 30-50 yards away. I was using a 180-600mm lens, so I wasn't as close as it looks.

There are some photos of a fox on my website that I took back in September up in Montana. He got so close I couldn't get focus on him, thought he was gonna come sit on my lap, but he just kept trotting along

Those are ravens. Crazy smart birds, if you have one of those zip up ice chests they can unzip them to get the food out.

If you ever get to North Dakota there are tons of abandoned houses, schools, churches on the back roads. All painted bright white. Against the prairie and blue sky there are a bunch of photo ops. Some excellent birds for photos as well, with pheasant probably the most photogenic. I've been wanting to get back there with a good lens.

Those are incredible. Thanks for sharing. Would you mind editing and sharing locales for each.

Great results. Have an older friend who shot outdoor life for years. He’s 75 now and gave it up when the editing became more of a thing. Is a purist to a fault i guess. He's anti photogs now. It’s a shame he’s had 1000’s of photos published. Have you heard of older generation seeing it this way now ?

I haven't really noticed it too much, but I have a few photographer friends that are older and don't do much editing, they shoot more for fun now.

Editing has always been somewhat of a thing, even during the film days. Ansel Adams did amazing things with his dodge and burn technique. I get where your friend is coming from though. With the development of AI, I think you may start to see more photographers give it up.
