Not fishing on the 4th but made a trip yesterday on MS Gulf Coast and caught some real nice trout on live croakers.

We tried crabbing west cove launch yesterday. No luck. Barley any and all small.
I caught a few at holly beach while the kidd played.
No fishing today, going to chill at camp and ski!

Can confirm that you’d have been able to walk from the Bridge Side launch to Caminada pass without getting your feet wet this morning. Might be the most boats, SxS, and golf carts I’ve ever seen down here.

Traffic was light this month morning but we left spicers @4:45 heading to catch mullet. Took longer and I left with fewer than I wanted but I needed to get down channel. Rolled into my spot pitched the first mullet out and handed rod to wife as she set da hook on a solid trout. We finished with 11 trout between 1.5#-2.0#, a solid gallon ziplock full.
Tide was dead at 9:30 so we rolled back to spicers and cleaned fish.

Went to Bouef. Found the bass stacked up on a point. It was good morning.

Tide is up at so we headed out. I set up the boil equipment yesterday evening so we will probably only catch 4.
