Temps are going to be mid 80's here with lows in the mid 60's. Just might have to go have a sit or two.

Daughter killed one yesterday so luckily I don't have to go this weekend. She'll be content for a week or so.

Will make it to the stand rain or shine Sunday evening. Saw a hog last hunt, with no shot on him. Maybe the girlfriend can stick something tomorrow morning while I'm working.

Pulled cards this afternoon and may sit at this spot tomorrow afternoon. I know he's 3.5, but if I get an opportunity on him, he's getting an Exodus thrown at him. Would be my biggest bow kill to date if so...

how many of u bow hunt from ladder stands?

which model do you use?

height?

Looking at buying a few ladder stands instead of lock ons for the older ppl at the camp. no way they would be able to climb sticks but a ladder would be easier for em.

Rivers edge brand seems to have pretty good reviews. Iv been looking at getting a few to throw up in different spots.

I had a rough start to the morning. Got out my truck and had to rush to the woods with an old roll of toilet paper, discolored and caked together by old squirrel blood. When I was halfway through the deed a bug flew in to my eye and I blinked my contact out. Since I'm basically a ninja I caught it when it fell out. I was squatting in the woods with a dirty arse and no way to put a contact in. Instead of trying to wipe left handed (which feels like somebody sneaking up on you) or put the contact in my other hand I waddled back to my truck. I dug around and managed to find a contact case and solution. I stored the contact until I could clean up and pull my britches up. I need to start carrying glasses with me.

I almost went home after starting the day like that. Got to watch some squirrels screw, though. It ended up being an ok morning. Hopefully I didnt catch a new disease from the squirrel blood.

Man you can't pack a ladder stand and all your gear in the woods unless u on a lease or private land to leave the stand.
