I'm not "hatin" on kayak fishing, just merely interested in what percentage of the OB kayak fishes.

What advantages does it provide?

Why don't you life?

I don't. It's not because I am against it but I have a real boat and prefer fishing out of it than a yak.

I only do it because I sold my boat and wanted to fish on the days I couldn't find someone else to go with. I've already started saving for my next boat. When I purchase it in about 4 years, the kayak will sit at the camp for the kids to use.

I do catch as many redfish in it as I did in my boat though. The quietness along with the fact that you fish banks more thoroughly has made up for not being able to cover as much ground.

Pirogue not yak. And The kids are the only ones taking the pirogue out these days.
Anyway, I suppose I'm too old for a yak.
