I farm about 1/1000th of an acre at a time.

Unless you count all the firewood farming I do.

Cattle support my farming habit But seriously peanuts are the money crop here. I make more on peanuts than anything most years. Last year I did better on cotton but lost my arse in soybeans. Cattle are pretty steady drought or no drought you will still have calves. So I guess it's financially motivated but I do prefer watching calves grow as opposed to plants.

My brother, father, and I farm about 4800 acres of cotton, corn, soybeans, and wheat. We do not have any farm animals.
I am leaving tomorrow to go to the National Farm and Machinery show in Louisville KY. It is the biggest indoor farm show in the country.

I have been by those places a few times already. I am glad to see that they are building a Cabelas in Louisville unfortunately it will not be open when we are there this year.

We lease our property now to some close family friends since dad passed on but when were at our biggest we farming around 4500 acres, own 2000, leased the rest... Cotton, soybeans, and milo... Still do some custom harvesting
