Closed a cheap little lockback on my hand once. Missed the finger mostly, more at the base of my thumb on the outside. Bled like a stuck pig as I was cussing up a storm. Took forever to heal too. I probably needed a stitch or two, but my dad's a doctor and ended up using butterfly closures on it and some super glue.

Wish I could find mine, I had that one and an Old Timer 8OT from my dad when I was in scouts. Still have the 8OT, stays in its storage box now as there's no getting another US-made one and it's in great shape. I think after I lost the BSA I bought a Wenger Mountaineer which I still have and I think I did manage to pinch my hand closing or using that worthless saw blade.

Weird story on how I stabbed myself one time. I had a '98 Z-71 extra cab and I locked my keys in it. I pried open the rear passenger window with a knife enough to get a mop handle into it to reach across the truck and hit the unlock button. I was barefoot and when I pulled the mop handle out the knife fell and stabbed me right in the top of the ankle.

Think it was second knife my Grandfather gave me, Case. Remember it well, late 70s. Surprised I didn’t have more damage. Pinky finger got rocked

Yep and it was bad! When I was a teenager I still had bunk beds. I was laying on the bottom bunk and poking a knife into the wood slats of the bed above while talking on the phone. Swiss Army knife that of course doesn’t lock. Pushed super hard and it closed across all my knuckles!!
