Everyone is saying elk is better than buffalo. I’ve never eaten elk, but my BIL gave us a bunch of buffalo and it is awesome.

I’d opt for the buffalo.

The Outfitters are No Mercy Hunting in Oklahoma

CSB about No Mercy:

September 2015, I made a dove hunt with them for opening weekend. Paid $100/gun and it SUCKED. Killed 16 between 6 of us and that included 4 pigeons!

The kicker was for the afternoon they took us to a "cut sunflower" field that was actually just black-eyed suzies! Lmao. Looking back now I laugh but we were pretty hot at the time.

We still make annual dove hunts but through a different outfit. As a way to commemorate the inaugural gaffe, we call it the No Mercy Pigeon Shoot:

Not impressed with No Mercy. Me and a buddy booked a prairie dog hunt with them, after you pay their lack of communication was extremely irritating. Upon arrival to the town where they were supposed to meet us. They were no shows for 45 minutes and wouldn’t answer their phone or text. Prairie dogs weren’t as abundant as they made them out to be either. I wouldn’t recommend them.

Wouldn't shoot a buffalo even if he was charging me....people who shoot buffalo are just killing an animal, not hunting.

Whichever one of these are not fenced and baited for me to HUNT, not just kill.

I disagree. Cows, chickens, pigs are killed and not hunted. If you are eating the meat and using the hide, I think it’s more than ok. Now if you shoot something and just leave it then it’s an issue.

Elk inside a fence just has no appeal to me, and neither does a 150-200" deer inside a fence.

Would just as soon shoot a couple Bluejays out of my backyard.
