That Sea born looks like an incredible boat.
Like said above, look at
Tideline
Crevalle
Dorado
Sheaffer
Marauder
Barker bay-may be out of your price range though
tidewater
sterling
shearwater is a great boat
Yes, the tideline is a cat, they're pretty sweet boats.
I would also look at the shallow sport x3

Is that tideline a cat?
Yup, an awesome platform for inshore and light offshore fishing.
You can pick your days to go on serious offshore trips and it still acts like a fantastic bay boat. It'll be a better ride than any mono bay boat out there.
Drafts more than a panga model but more comfortable.

Yes. It is a more of a true hybrid bay/offshore boat than similarly sized monohulls. I think they can be had for around $75-100k depending on outfitting.

That is a pretty good list. I would think that the Sea Born could be had for less than most on that list.

Take a look at the Nautic Star with a 250 yammy. A friend has one and I have fished many times in it. Very nice boat and fast.

And you could probably rig it with radar, big gps/depth finder, and twin power poles for the price of a baseline contender, yellowfin, seavee,or barker

I would second the Crevalle. We are in the market for a bigger bay boat and liked the Blackjack, Pathfinder, and Crevalle the best so far. We have the small Blackjack now.

This is the answer, THE Gravois. Spend $100,000 once, forever. Wouldn't worry about the other one.

My neighbor has an American Aluminum and it's nicer than any of the metal sharks I've seen around
