Where to rent an enclosed trailer?

I know U-Haul has a few to chose from, unfortunately they will be to small for me. I need to be able to pick it up and one location and drop at another. Does Penske or any other loving companies offer these?

Something bigger than a 6x12, that’s the largest U-Haul offers. I’m moving from CA back to LA and have accumulated some shite from my time being out here.

Rent a box truck and ship your truck or have the better half drive your truck back.

Rent Box truck. Haul truck on trailer behind it.

Sounds like you need a box truck

You can rent a vehicle tow dolly from U-Haul. Get one of those to put your vehicle on and tow it behind a box truck

Maybe, look in to getting a Pod and have it shipped

Some of the freight lines will drop you off a "pup" trailer, you load it, put your lock on it, they pick it up, and then deliver it to your new addy. I think they'll give you a couple of days to unload once it's there.
If I were going cross country this would be my solution, load it up and let someone else worry about puling it.

I rented a 24' enclosed trailer when I moved as it was cheaper than a Uhaul. The trailer sales place at the corner of Hwy 311 and Hollywood road in Houma rents them out.

I was trying to stay away from having to pull a vehicle across the country. Looks like i'll have to go that route, having a hard time finding enclosed trailers that I can rent in CA and drop off in LA.

If the economy wasn't in the hopper you could buy one and sale it when done....they don't lose a lot if any value...hard to find any for sale used and almost all of them are the same price new....
If you tow your truck drop the driveshaft unless it is designed to be flat towed....look in the owners manual for recreational towing...if it is included it can be flat towed by following the directions. 2 wheel drives need to have the driveshaft dropped or the transmission will overheat and be destroyed if you pull it very far. If it is a full size 4WD its possible the transfer case can be placed in neutral depending on the type of transfer case. I think almost all full size 4WDs, US Made, including the GM mid size and Tahoes / Suburbans can be flat towed with the transfer case in neutral but I'd check the manual and if it doesn't have a recreational towing section it can't be done. It also won't work with a manual transmission accept in rare instances. You can also google RV Toads and there is an annual report of all vehicles that can be flat towed...download the years report for your vehicle and if it is listed it will have the recreational towing section in the owners manual.

There is a place on airline in Gonzales that rents them. B & B I think it's called. Not sure what size they have. A box truck cross country is going to be a rough as shite ride.
ETA: Disregard. You said pick up and drop in another.
