Seems like some other shrimper needs to follow Ricky's example.

Bait House gets tons of my money, guess I need to call them to hold my shrimp if all these yahoos are going to head there.

Its 75 bucks every time I stop at that damn bait boat!

I could have probably bought my own trawl.

Trade winds seems to have spent all their money on paint and signs and less on bait hookups

I work for trade winds, They spent a lot on a self contained system that requires time to build up bacteria as a filtration component. Takes 90 days so we will then have the healthiest shrimp around

We are working real hard to be there for our customers trying to meet all needs to make things as convenient and full service as possible. Thanks for your feedback.

The staff couldn't be any nicer (a real change from Gordon, RIP), and I would do my business there if they had the bait. SO much closer to Cocodrie where I usually stay. How's the food there?

The restaurant is only open Thurs-Sun but it's legit. Inside the marina they also have biscuits/burgers/ pizza/ chicken wings every day of the week for a quick snack

I just talked to the owner and it won't be long until we are stocked with all the live bait you could use

Post up when that happens-the search for live bait in the Cocodrie/Dularge area might be one of the most posted questions on any of the outdoor sites I can think of, and after I graduated from LSU I swore I would never wait in a long line again, so Ricky is usually not an option for me.

How has the fishing been this week in Cocodrie? Is there good water to he found or is it muddy like it was a few weeks ago? A buddy of mine and I are taking our sons this weekend. Hope we can fins some specs and reds!

Hope its changed from the week before last. Clean water was difficult to find and the fishing was hard as hell.

Houseboat south of jugs in DU wanted 50 cents a piece for live shrimp. Highest I have seen before this was around .25. What are y'all paying for live?
