I need some 1/4 or 3/8 angle and all I can find at the box stores are 3/16 angle. Where can I pick some up today?

Is there a tractor supply around? Pretty sure they have a larger selection.

Try Superior Steel in Denham Springs off of Hatchell Lane. Don’t stop at the front building, drive to the back and ask someone for help.

Sabel Steel is where you want to go. They supply all of the steel to the fabrication shops in BR.

I'm not too sure on the thickness, but old bed frames are good cheap sources for angle iron.

Thin stuff though. Basically his only choice is a supplier or scrap yard that will sell by the foot with no minimum.

I quit going there after the minimum purchase kept going up. It’s at least $150, if not $250.

Brecheen pipe and steel. Their prices are very good. But you will have to set up an account to buy anything.
