Any OBers selling some? I'd rather not go and buy a bundle from the store but need to get some for my fire pit at the house.

I'm in for half a cord also for the right price. I'll come load it up to.

Old Hammond and Florida as well but we are looking for an OB hookup.

I picked up a truck load of wood for my mom off Greenwell Springs in between Flannery and Frenchtown before comite river bridge. It was $60 and guy loaded it for me.

I'd say it was about half a cord...good seasoned wood

How much you get for $60? I'll load it myself, that's not a problem.

that sounds like a good deal but half of a cord takes up a 5x8 trailer and the back of a pickup bed.

I bought a truckload from a guy last winter that lives off 42 down by Bayou Manchac. It was supposed to be a half cord but he filled up my F350 long bed over the top for $100. Had oak, pecan, and one other. If interested I can try and find his name & number.

I worked for Mike's Tree Svc off of Pecue, and he had 3 log splitters and a whole yard full of wood. Maybe give him a call

Old Hammond, 1/4 mile east of Millerville has 2 places next door to each other. I have not idea their prices but competition between them might help keep the cost down...

Not an OB hookup, but he snowball stand on Burbank near Gardere that looks like it does $5 million a year in sales has firewood stacked out back with signs saying they sell it.

That has to be the best revenue generating snowball stand in the country and now they've added winter products....

My neighbor and I are working on a BIG pile of ends and rejects from where he had 88 acres logged off the past two years. There's more wood there than he and I will ever be able to cut and split before it rots. And it's all hardwood. My point is, haven't some of yall had your leases logged and timber cut? There is always a big pile of reject wood, stump ends, etc. at the landing up here when we log off some land. And the landowner is always glad to get rid of it.

I've got some laying in my yard. All you have to do is come get it. I cut a big water oak earlier this year and although I keep telling it to move, the SOB is just sitting right where it fell.

It would probably work better if it was cut up and split, but I don't really know how big a fella you are. You might be able to throw it over your shoulder.

I'll make you this deal. I'll run my saw, while you split and load.

Yea it wasn't a bad deal. I have a Titan, but bed is short. We filled it to the top almost over flowing. My mom was thrilled, so that's all that really mattered to me. She will have enough to burn for the winter.
