When to add mushrooms to shrimp boil

I’m boiling up some shrimp tonight in my boiling pot. Should I add the shrooms before and let them cook with the shrimp? I plan on having the garlic in about 30 minutes before the shrimp are set to drop. I figure they should go in after the garlic, but before the shrimp.
TIA

Same time time as the shrimp if you want them to have a little bite to them. Any earlier and they will be ultra spicy rubbery mush balls.
Maybe 5 min before now that I’m thinking about it assuming your shrimp get a decent soak.

In at the beginning. They will suck up a lot on season. Once shrimp are dropped, bring to boil, shut it off. Remove top and drop a shite load of ice. Let sit 20-30 mins, then eat.

Never over cook shrimp or they will be a bitch to peel. Shrimp cook super fast.

I boiled some Saturday. Let it get to a roiling boil for a few min, Drop in shrimp and cut off fire. We had deheaded shrimp and they cook instantly. (We also had only 10# so if you’re doing a bunch maybe let them sit for a min but I believe if you let them come to a boil they will overcook.) Then I drop corn and shrooms. Put the garlic in the pot in the beginning with the onions and lemons. Also, don’t use ice to cool pot down. Use a frozen gallon jug of water

Whenever. Either with the shrimp or when you turn the fire off. Not much difference either way.

Dont know how this gets the down votes. That's the way I get the shells to pop every time.

This, except I use a couple frozen jugs of water instead of ice and stir occasionally. Won't dilute your seasoned water. Peel great every time.
