We had two and they healed tremendously. I shot a 39 on 9 at Webb Wednesday. I need to get with him on putting.

I don't really hunt, and don't need 3.5" shells for clays. Was looking for either the Cordoba or Super Sport, basically the same gun.

but why pay 300 more for the same gun that does less?

From the research I did, the SBII could have issues cycling light loads. It seems the Cordoba and Super Sport are more tuned for this.

And yes, this is a 12 gauge with 28" barrel. I shot a Super Sport with 30" barrel last weekend, and the gun just felt long.

I've never had a problem cycling 7/8oz loads through my SBEII. To each his own though, you got a fine weapon!
